Listening Sessions
At Bethlehem we have been engaged in a three step process that will create 1 and 3 year Mission Priorities to guide our ministry with our members and community into the future. Step one began in the fall when about two dozen leaders gathered to create our Purpose Statement and Guiding Principles (overwhelmingly approved by the congregation in January. See it on the last page of our worship folder). Step two begins NOW with Congregational Listening Sessions and ‘one-on-ones’ in the community. Then in our third step, we will filter all of the information we gather though our Purpose Statement and Guiding Principles and create our Mission Priorities.
Join us in this process to make your voice heard! Listening Sessions are planned for the women’s groups, council, the boards, and several informal groups in the congregation as well as following services of worship. Each will last just 45 minutes.
